BKK Floating Market

Bangkok: becoming large floating market

The real crisis of flooding, 2011

Two main roads are overflowing with water for nearly a week resulting from the recent heavy raining and the drainage test on Monday morning.

Sukhumvit and Rudchadaphisek Road still have water struck around fourteen centimeter as the water cannot flow out expectedly and the rain is continue raining heavily increasing the water level are higher and stuck on the road.

Many people are panic about the flood. They prepare to buy a boat before the prices are rising. And mostly people also get worried about this situation that the situation will be the same as the Disaster Flood that made a large of damages for them or not.

However, the government declared on Friday afternoon that they already have a plan to solve this crisis and promise to pump water out as soon as possible. The drainage test is not going to happen soon. We will evaluate the situation and have a new plan for drainage water in the future.

“The manager told my friend to speak to me that I had no need to go to the factory again even the flood is gone out, now I have no job to do that makes me so stress.”  Banna says.

A street vender who sells a comic book gets lots of damages. “More than half of book,    I need to throw it because it all wasted and ruined by water.”
