Fabulous Thai Brands

 

Nowadays, choosing something to wear is getting more complicate than the past because it is not only represents how wealthy you are but also your style. We have to choose what and when to where more careful.  Although there were a lot of fashion brands now, every year new brands were born in countries around the world. We are now, in a middle of fashion war. The new brands created new and strange trends to fight with the old one.  On the other hand, the old brands fight back with more branches and their limited collections. This is a never-ending wars

In Thailand we manufacture a lot of cotton and silk so, this is one of the best place for designer to choose and create clothes from many weaving factories. That’s why we have more newborn brands. There are a lot of Thai brands nowadays but I have chosen some of them which have an outstanding style.

 

Let’s start with one of my favorite brand, Fly Now. They have a great leather hand bag collections which I’m in love with. This brand started with their small ladies collection in 1983 and later added leather wear and bags to collections.  Nowadays, Fly Now is well-known for their leather collections. All of their clothing collections are made for working women age group so, they came up with a daughter brand name  “Fly now III” to catch the younger consumer.

  Following by SUDA, one of a newborn brand which has only shop in soi Siam Square2. Their collections are very popular in working woman age because of the casual and luxurious style clothes. The shade of clothes are not to dazzling. Most of them are designed in pastel tone and the cutting is very neat. The customers can order specific size for themselves which are more convenient for one who wants their dress to be exactly fit. This brand is the best choice for working women who work in offices. SUDA and Fly Now are very different in style. Most of Fly Now collection was designed by male designers while collection from SUDA was designed by the owner of the brand, Sudathip Wongsod. Although SUDA has more femininity, Fly Now has more various and colorful items.

Moving to more international brand, SANSHAI. This brand produce both male and female wearing collections. The unconventional but classic street style made this brand different from others. By presenting their collection, they have chosen very chic locations which I think it’s very help pushing their clothes to be more prominent. Most of their collection is much more womanliness than two brands above. Moreover, they have male collection which is not a boring color tone like usual. The designer of the brand, Jirat Supisakul designed the great male collection in spring-summer 2011. In this collection they provided some great shorts for men that have a nice detail by using a combination colors and more easy wearing shorts and shirt.

I always think that we suppose to support Thai brand in case that we are Thai but the price of some brand’s items are almost as high as international brands. Most of Thai brand now are trying to push themselves to the international market so, they chose the better materials. As a result, the price went up sharply and Thai people couldn’t buy it. However, there are a lot of small brands which you can find them at JJ Saturday market. I hope you enjoy my review and have a great shopping day for Mother’s Day.  ;)
